2004 Hyundai Sonata clutch question?
This may sound crazy, but the clutch on my Sonata only seems to act up when it is hot outside It will be fine in the cool hours of the AM, then later on it gets " hard" to push down no problem changing gears . I know I need to have it looked at, but just the other day, when I stepped on the clutch, it went to the floor and stayed there. Later that evening, when I came home, the clutch had come back up and " seemed" fine. Has anyone ever heard of this before? Thanks

2004 Hyundai Sonata GLS ?
Hello,I'm looking to buy a used 2004 Hyundai Sonata GLS for 2500, the only probably is, is that it has 200000 miles on it . It has had 1 owner and has been serviced by the Hyundai dealership. It also just had a rebuilt transmission done on it just for the hell of it. My best friends grandma is the one selling it, so I can trust him that she hasn't driven crazy with it on the road. Right now I'm driving a 1996 Ford Found off road dead Taurus which has a blown head gasket and is about to break down. I'm 19 and in college so I don't have much to spend. I don't know too much about Hyundai's but I do know their better than Fords. So, what I'm asking is, do you think I should buy the Sonata with that many miles, or should I look for a different vehicle? Thank you for your help.
What's wrong with my 2004 Hyundai Sonata's break lights?
My 20404 Hyundai Sonata break lights do not turn on when I turn my lights on yet they work when the breaks are applied. I have checked the fuses and even replaced the lights themselves. Any ideas?
2004 Hyundai Sonata check engine light at 32000 miles, code read as O2 sensor, but went back off. Warranty?
Put 5 gals gas in, clicked cap 3xs & a few miles later, the chk eng lite went on. Ironically, I just rolled over to 32,000 on the nose. Took to AutoZone this am, they won't read codes anymore as of Jan '08 but for a refundable fee of $149.99 tax they'll let you use theirs and will help you work it. It showed the o2 sensor needed to be fixed. Okay, I have the 10 100K warranty, no prob. But I knew I needed an oil change and air filter replacement, so jogged over and had that done. Strangely enough, the chk eng lite was back off. Guy at Kragens who sold me the air filter thought maybe someone had d c the battery during the oil change why? and to run it abt 100 mi to see if it goes back on. My concern is this, will the lite have to be on in order for my dealer to replace the sensor under the warranty? Is there any other way the sensor went off & gave a false for the o2? W out making cracks about Hyundai, it seems the O2 sensors go out often, is this a prob? BTW, mine is a manual.

I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata that currently has 18" rims and low profile tires on it. I want to buy new rims online, and need to make sure they will fit before I make the purchase. They are 18" x 7.5" Rims 4 Lug with an offset of 42mm, and the thread size is 12mm X 1.5 mm. Can anyone help?The new rims have a 4x100 or 4x114.3bolt pattern. There are actually 8 holes on the rims. Hope this helps.
