2002 Hyundai Sonata problem with picking up speed. Whats could it be?
Ever since she got a tune up, its been acting crazy. It seems to not pick up speed at times and its about to cut off. Is it the fuel coil, fuel injection, fuel pump, or is it something else?
2002 Hyundai Sonata, Squeeling noise only at 40mph, replaced transmition 3 times, noise still there at 40mph.?
I also have both front wheel bearings replaced and noise still there 40mph.Noise is coming from the front left side of the car. today the pump turned off half dozen times before I got 2 gallons in. There seems to be backwash almost immediately when I start pumping the gas. I can only pump very slowly or it pumps off immediately.
I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata that had an alternator replaced. This lead to more problems! Is this a rip off?
The alternator was replaced by removing right front wheel and going in underneath. On the way home I notice a " shimmery" noise I had never heard before on the right side. Took car back, they say boot on left front needs replaced and bearing on right front wneel needs replaced, supposedly due to nothing they did. The boot he knew about, the bearing he didn't...I asked why wasn't I told about the boot ..." well I was told to replace the alternator" . He didn't remove where the bearing was to get to the alternator they say. They ordered the bearing twice, it is too small although they say that's what the catalog calls for. They say this means somewhere down the line someone replaced the spindle. The Hyundai place only has one more type of bearing it could be and they don't know if it will fit or not, but it is the only option left. It will be Tues or Wed before the part will come in. If that part doesn't work who knows what will be next. Am I being ripped off or does this sound legit?I bought the car second hand so the $$ isn't in Korea, its in my home town. Downing the car isn't responsive to the question. Last two answers are very helpful If I can figure out how to rate, I will do it. It won't let me do thumbs up down yet apparently.
Why is my 2002 Hyundai Sonata keep blowing headlights/fog lights?
About once every 2 3 months I am changing some sort of light bulb on my car. It is either my headlight bulb, fog light bulb, or parking light bulb. About 3 or so weeks ago I replaced my passenger headlight bulb & drivers fog light bulb. This morning I get in my car and I now have my drivers side headlight out and the drivers side parking light. I love my car and NEVER had any issues other then this since I have owned the car with 89k miles and I bought her brand new. It is not under warranty anymore so that is why I am reaching out to my fellow yahooins Little more details about my car The bulbs I buy come from either Pep Boys or Auto Zone. I always buy the Sliverstar bubs at $24 a pop. My car was bought brand new in 2002 and I have 89400 miles on it. This problem has been going on for about 3 or so years now. The dealership wants me to bring it in on Monday, could be the hood is off alignment and the vibration is causing this or it is an electrical problem. Great my car in not under warranty and I know they are going to hit me with a large bill for this.
Is $3,000 for a 2002 Hyundai Sonata too much or too little?

Any oppinoins and or facts?He is buying this car off craigs list, does it still come with that warranty? and are they really that bad of cars?It has a tad bit over 84 thousand miles.not 100,000.
